Patients at Vecino’s Airline Children’s Clinic take part in National Health Center Week celebrations with some hands on learning about health care. These two might be even become our future pediatricians!

Congressman Green is the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Health for the 115th Congress. A longtime supporter of Vecino Health Centers, and a champion for health equity, he understands the impact National Health Centers like Vecino have on the lives of Houston families.

Because of their long record of success in innovation, managing health care costs, and reducing chronic disease, community health centers have a proud tradition of bipartisan support. National Health Center Week celebrates this support, with visits by Members of Congress and state officials scheduled at heath centers across the country. Other events include health fairs, back-to-school drives, patient appreciation events and free health screenings.
